After more than 37 years of driving commercial and domestic vehicles throughout the UK and Europe, I decided to pass that experience on by becoming a driving instructor.

Having helped my own daughters learn to drive, I understand that every pupil is different.

That is why I tailor each lesson around your confidence, previous experience and preferred way of learning.

My aim is to create a calm and enjoyable environment where you feel relaxed, supported and able to build confidence naturally.

If you make a mistake, we will discuss it calmly, understand why it happened and work together to improve it without unnecessary pressure.

I use modern coaching techniques that help you think independently, solve problems and make safe decisions for yourself.

My goal is not simply to help you pass your driving test. I want you to develop safe driving habits that will stay with you for life.

Manual Driving Lessons

You will learn in a comfortable Ford Fiesta Vignale manual car.

The Ford Fiesta is easy to drive and provides an excellent environment for learning clutch control, gear changes, junctions, roundabouts, manoeuvres and everyday road skills.

We will begin with the basic controls and gradually progress as your confidence and driving ability develop.

Absolutely. Many pupils begin lessons feeling nervous or unsure of themselves.

My calm and patient approach helps you relax, build confidence and progress without feeling rushed or under pressure.

What car will I learn in?

You will learn in a Ford Fiesta Vignale manual car.

It is comfortable, easy to drive and provides an excellent learning environment for both complete beginners and experienced learners.

Are lessons available at weekends?

Yes. I provide lessons Monday to Sunday, subject to availability.

How many driving lessons will I need?

Every learner is different. The number of lessons you need will depend on your previous experience, confidence, ability and whether you can practise privately between lessons.

I will regularly review your progress and clearly explain what you need to work on before taking your driving test.
