I am a highly qualified DVSA-approved driving instructor providing automatic driving lessons across Maldon, South Woodham Ferrers and the Dengie Peninsula.
Having helped thousands of learners gain their driving licence, I understand that every pupil learns differently. My approach is calm, supportive and tailored to your individual needs, helping you build confidence and become a safe driver for life.
Over the years I have helped thousands of learners gain their driving licence and become safe, confident drivers. My experience extends beyond learner driver training, as I also deliver advanced driver training, instructor development and professional driver education programmes.
I work closely with Essex Road Safety initiatives and regularly deliver driver development programmes designed to improve road safety and driver awareness.
When the DVSA assessed my instructional ability, I achieved a Grade A standard, placing me amongst the highest performing instructors nationally. I have also been awarded the prestigious RoSPA Gold Award for advanced driving.
My teaching philosophy is simple — every learner is different. By listening carefully and adapting lessons to suit the way each individual learns, I help pupils make rapid progress while remaining relaxed and confident throughout the learning process.

Fantastic Group of instructors! Teaching techniques are really good, very flexible to fit all the students in they can on a weekly bases. Mark Gosling has been my primary instructor since day one. He has taught myself so much and has ‘coached’ to this very day that I have passed the test! Being the guy that’s always in your corner.
