My name is Mark Furneaux and I am a DVSA Approved automatic driving instructor providing professional driving lessons throughout Maldon, Chelmsford, South Woodham Ferrers, the Dengie Peninsula, Tiptree, Witham and the surrounding Essex areas.

I trained to become a driving instructor with Supreme School of Motoring, so I have first-hand experience of the knowledge, support and professional standards provided by the Supreme team.

Advanced Experience with a Calm Coaching Style

I am a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and have more than 20 years of experience as a police-trained Class 1 advanced driver.

This background has given me a strong understanding of observation, planning, risk awareness and safe decision-making in all types of road and traffic conditions.

As an instructor and coach, I believe learners gain far more when they feel relaxed, focused and involved in their own development.

Rather than simply telling you what to do, we will work together to help you understand why you are making each decision and how to improve safely.

Every lesson is adapted around your confidence, previous experience and preferred way of learning.

If something does not make sense straight away, I will explain it differently, break it into manageable stages and give you the time you need to feel comfortable.

My aim is to help you pass your driving test when you are ready, while also giving you additional skills and techniques that will make you a safer driver for life.

Every learner is different. The number of lessons you need will depend on your previous experience, confidence, ability and whether you can practise privately between lessons.

I will regularly review your progress and clearly explain what you need to work on before taking your driving test.
