My name is Kay Robinson and I am a highly experienced DVSA Approved Driving Instructor providing automatic driving lessons throughout Maldon, Tiptree and the surrounding areas.

I have been teaching learners to drive since 1997 and have helped well over 1,000 people gain their driving licence and become safe, confident and independent drivers.

Driving tuition has always been part of my family. My mum founded Supreme School of Motoring in 1974 and I have proudly worked alongside my brother, Pete Robinson, for nearly three decades.

Together, we have helped Supreme grow into one of the most respected driving schools in Essex.

I have achieved the highest instructional grade awarded by the DVSA and continue to use modern coaching techniques that help learners make progress while enjoying their lessons.

Helping Nervous Learners Build Confidence

One of the parts of my job I enjoy most is helping nervous learners become comfortable and confident behind the wheel.

Many of my pupils arrive feeling anxious about driving, worried about making mistakes or unsure whether they will ever feel confident enough to pass their test.

My lessons are calm, friendly and tailored to you. I believe people learn best when they feel relaxed, supported and encouraged.

Mistakes are a normal part of learning, so we will talk through anything that goes wrong, understand why it happened and practise it again without pressure.

I adapt each lesson around your confidence, experience and the way you learn best.

My aim is not only to help you pass your driving test, but to help you become a safe, confident and independent driver for life.

Every learner is different. The number of lessons you need will depend on your previous experience, confidence, ability and whether you can practise privately between lessons.

I will regularly review your progress and clearly explain what you need to work on before taking your driving test.
