I am a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor providing professional manual driving lessons throughout Tiptree, Witham, Colchester and the surrounding Essex areas.

Before becoming a driving instructor, I spent many years working in the haulage industry, driving throughout the UK and gaining extensive real-world driving experience.

I am also trained in blue-light emergency response driving and serve as a retained firefighter.

Qualifying with Supreme School of Motoring allowed me to combine that practical driving experience with modern coaching and teaching techniques.

My aim is to help every pupil become a safe, confident and independent driver while making lessons relaxed, supportive and enjoyable.

Real-World Driving Experience

Before becoming a driving instructor, I spent many years driving professionally throughout the UK.

My background in haulage gave me extensive experience of motorways, rural roads, towns, cities and a wide variety of traffic conditions.

My blue-light emergency response training has also strengthened my understanding of observation, planning, hazard awareness and safe decision-making.

I now use that experience to help learners understand not only how to pass their driving test, but how to deal safely and confidently with everyday driving situations.

If you are nervous about driving, I will help you progress gradually in a calm and reassuring environment.

My aim is not simply to help you pass your driving test. I want you to develop the knowledge, confidence and judgement needed to become a safe driver for life.

How many driving lessons will I need?

Every learner is different. The number of lessons you need will depend on your previous experience, confidence, ability and whether you can practise privately between lessons.

I will regularly review your progress and explain what you need to work on before taking your driving test.
