I am a DVSA-approved automatic driving instructor specialising in automatic driving lessons, adapted driving lessons and disability driver training throughout Chelmsford, Maldon, Witham, South Woodham Ferrers, the Dengie Peninsula and surrounding Essex areas.

Having experienced my own recovery journey following a stroke, I understand first-hand how important independence, mobility and confidence can be. This helps me support learners with patience, understanding and genuine empathy.

Whether you are learning to drive for the first time, returning to driving after illness or injury, transitioning to an adapted vehicle, or looking for calm and supportive automatic driving lessons, every lesson is tailored to your individual needs and goals.

I teach in a fully adapted Ford Focus Titanium Automatic equipped with specialist driving controls designed to support a wide range of mobility requirements.

Specialist Adapted Driving Lessons

I am a Motability registered instructor and listed on the Disability Driving Instructors Register.

My adapted automatic vehicle includes:

  • Brig-Ayd push/pull hand controls with indicator pin switch
  • Brig-Ayd twin flip left foot accelerator
  • Bever SmartSteer steering aid with integrated secondary controls
  • Bever SmartControl interface system
  • Steering ball and specialist steering clamps

These adaptations allow many learners with reduced mobility or physical disabilities to learn safely, comfortably and confidently.
