With over 20 years of driving experience, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge to every lesson with a passion for safe, confident driving. 

My background extends beyond just driving, as I was also a qualified dinghy sailing instructor, which adds an element of precision and calm to my teaching style.

I served in the armed forces for 6 years, an experience that has shaped my professionalism and punctual approach to teaching. I have driven in many driving conditions in many countries under stress and anxiety, so I understand how nervous people can feel taking the wheel for the first time or approaching their driving test.  In addition, I also held a qualification as an ADR (Accord Dangerous Goods by Road) driver and also have a full motorcycle licence. 

Being a driving instructor with Supreme School of Motoring means that I have all the latest instructional techniques, and generally ‘coach’ rather than ‘tell’ my clients, and work with each individual to discuss their needs and together find the best way to coach them to success whilst being calm and patient.

Mike was a fabulous instructor from day one. Following a bad experience with her previous instructor, my daughter went from being a very nervous and hesitant driver to, with Mike’s guidance, being very self confident (not that she would ever have shared that with Mike directly. Lol). His calm and jokey attitude made her feel instantly relaxed in her lessons. She has gone from hating being behind the wheel to now saying that she actually quite likes driving.
