James O’Neill

Hello, thanks for taking an interest in me as your driving instructor.

Helping people achieve and progress in their life is what I’m all about. I’ve worked in education, helping schools, teachers and students alike since 2011. A few years later, I decided that I wanted to do more and became a Driving Instructor too.

My number one goal as an instructor, is to create the next generation of safe, knowledgeable and courteous drivers. Our roads are getting busier every year and the emphasis to be safer grows with that. Driving test standards are forever increasing in addition to this and the need for an experienced and qualified teacher is a no brainer in my opinion.

With a fun and student centred teaching method, I aim to help you progress as quickly and safely as possible. My teaching involves detailed briefings and structure, demonstrations and as much time behind the wheel, gaining experience on the road as possible; what better way to learn than actually doing it? Sometimes, people can get a bit of anxiety when they get behind the wheel. With me, not a problem. I try very hard to make the car a calm and enjoyable experience and will always make an effort to reassure and give praise for your hard efforts.

I currently drive a high spec Renault Clio manual 1.5 Diesel. The car includes, Sat Nav, Cruise control, Automatic Climate Control with Air Conditioning and Hill assist amongst other features. Many students have said how much they love driving this car as it such an easy vehicle to learn in.

So, what are you waiting for? Contact me today and we can get you booked in. I look forward to hearing from you.

James is a great teacher! Really friendly and chatty, was happy to go over things as many times as needed without making me feel like I did it wrong, I felt confident and enjoyed every lesson and would definitely recommend him to everyone 😁
